How about the legal aspects of a research project?
Each project within a program has to have a Project Agreement signed by all actively involved parties. The project agreement defines the roles of the partners, frequency of the meetings, project reporting periods, contains a list of background and a short project description.
IP agreements in a project agreement can never be contradictory to the IP rules on program level (in the Framework Agreement or Consortium Agreement). On project level, the IP agreement can be more detailed though.
For all projects approved from 2013 budget onwards, an IWT agreement is signed: IWT pays the installments for the projects from SIM earmarked budget. The SIM agreements act as "samenwerkingsovereenkomst" between the project parties, as required by IWT.
For all contractual aspects of a new project or program, SIM takes the lead. If you have any questions regarding the legal framework, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.Return
